Kolmen Koukun Majat

Atmospheric log cottages in Saariselkä.

Saariselkä, that sweet little town in Inari!

Saariselkä is actually a wilderness reserve and one of the oldest mountain ranges in Finland. It is located in Northern Lapland in Finland, in the northermost part of the European continent. Kolmen Koukun cabins are located right in downtown Saariselkä.

Urho Kekkonen national park, the second largest national park in Finland, borders the downtown Saariselkä, so genuine Lappish nature and indescribable tranquility start a stone’s throw from Kolmen Koukun cabins.

Saariselkä town is located alongside Number Four road E75, it is about 30 kilometers (19 miles) from Ivalo airport to downtown Saariselkä. There is a shuttle bus from the airport to Saariselkä, and it takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk from the shuttle stop to the cabins. There are also ski shuttles and taxis in the area. The downtown is densely built, and no car is needed for visiting it.
